NLP in Chester. I am a NLP Master Practitioner working in Chester.  Based in The Chester Clinic I use Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) to help a wide range of problems from phobias, lack of confidence to compulsive behaviour. Specialities include aiding in weight loss, helping individuals get through separation and divorce, overcoming compulsions and phobia cures.

What Is NLP?
NLP is often called the Science and Art of Excellence. This is because its founding principle was to watch how brilliant people did what they did, break it down into bitesize chunks, work out which bits really mattered then build it back up in a way that made it simple to teach to others. Out of this process, called "Modelling" have come the almost magical techniques of NLP.

One of the key skills of NLP is Rapport. It is simple to learn how to observe and then match such things as posture and breathing rate. You'll be amazed at how powerful this can be to set someone at their ease, even if you are discussing something you disagree about. Imagine how useful this would be in giving feedback or in conflict situations.
Or try an experiment the other way round, deliberately taking on a different posture and breathing whilst talking to a friend and see for yourself how uncomfortable it can feel.

A key belief in NLP is that getting yourself into a resourceful state is a precursor to success. This can be easier than you think. We all know the idea of flying into a rage but how about flying into a calm? Imagine, you are in the middle of an argument and things are getting heated when the phone rings and it's your mother or a customer or a friend, someone you really want to talk to. You slip effortlessly into an calm state whilst parking your angry state to return to later.
